How many good news can we read from the local daily newspaper? Recently, there have been a few murder or death cases lately due to affairs of the heart. My heart feels heavy when I read these news. How did people land themselves into such dreary situations that destroy themselves and people whom they loved? Psychological problems, or simply a change of heart?

The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? Jeremiah 17:9

Lord, teach us to identify such tempting situations and flee from them. Teach our heart to yield to You and not to our carnal desires. To help those who are in need of help.

... let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles, and let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us. Heb.12:1
