28-29 Oct 05 - Pulau Ubin Island

(Italian)

Noi abbiamo buono tempo insieme a Pulau Ubin.

We had a great time at Pulau Ubin during these 2 days. I have not been cycling and camping for a long time and it was good to do something different again. It thrilled me when we cycled through some challenging routes. I enjoyed the cool rushing wind on my face as I rode downhill.

We moved from one camping site to another as the first site that we went to were occupied my 170 students. The new site that we went to were much peaceful and spacious. The weather report said that it was going to rain but God answered our prayer and He gave us a cool, starry night.

We had a good lunch and dinner. All thanks for Zhu Ming! We had a good time of sharing and quizzes. The girls got to sleep in the "5 stars" tent as compared to the guys..but still we did not really have a good sleep due to limited moving space and hard ground.

Neverthless, I enjoyed the time together with my friends!!

  • what was the price of the camping?

  • We did not pay any rent to camp at Pulau Ubin. We brought our tents and found a site to pitch our tents. The expenses probably were just the ferry rides and other miscellaneous charges if considered them as part of the cost of camping.
